Inspex, Inc. Offers X-ray Inspection Services
December 31, 1969 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Inspex, Inc. introduced quick-turn X-ray inspection services for PCB and semiconductor electronics packaging and assembly, including BGA, QFP and PLCC components on all types of assemblies, semiconductor components, active and passive devices, multiplayer PCBs, PCB fabrication and molded and encapsulated components.
Inspex provides X-ray analysis and application services for companies worldwide. "One of the lessons I have learned is that clients understand the need for X-ray inspection, but sometimes have difficulty integrating the function into their operations," said Jay Adams, president. Inspex provides the services, equipment and training assemblers need for X-ray inspection. "With the changeover to lead-free assemblies, the need for X-ray inspection services will become more critical, and so will the need for manufacturers to understand how to integrate these tools," added Adams.
