Designers to Join Up in Texas-based Event

BANNOCKBURN, Ill. — Through a full week of learning and networking opportunities to enhance professional skills and credibility, PCB and assembly designers can attend the "IPC Lead-free Initiative for Electronic Assembly" training on November 14–15; Designers Learning Symposium on November 16 and IPC Designers Certification on November 17–19, all to be held in Dallas.
The week-long series includes agendas filled with useful information on new design technology and processes. Topics include:
The European Union's Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) legislation Rules of thumb for successful board design Recommended lead-free solder for electronics Simultaneous design: ExtremePCB technology Stack-up analysis for multi-layer, high-performance applicationsThe two-day applied training workshop that precedes the symposium will cover materials, layer counts and electrical testing, and will be hosted by Eagle Circuits, Inc., a company that specializes in interconnect design, consulting and rapid response manufacturing. By extending the trip another few days, designers can earn IPC Designers Certification or Advanced Designers Certification to enhance their design education and increase their value to their employer and the industry.
