Connectors Save PCB Space in Sensor Applications
July 29, 2005 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
LISLE, Ill. — The EZ-Conn connectors from Molex Inc. on 1.50-mm pitch are ideal for industrial sensor applications, such as air and water pressure sensors used in pick-and-place assembly machines, base press controls and other automation equipment. The vertical thru-hole PCB version is available in modular units of three or four circuits in single, four-row and eight-row styles. The multi-row versions provide high-density mounting and allow for different input/output points. The SMT version is available in four circuits, allowing for right-angle mounting, and also includes side flanges for secure PCB retention. Rated at 32 V and 1.5 A maximum, the connectors feature lead-free plating.
