New DMM Fulfills Advanced Test Systems
April 18, 2005 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
SEATTLE — Signametrics' SMX2064 7½-digit PXI/cPCI digital multimeter (DMM) offers high measurement rates up to 20,000 readings/sec and low DC current measurement ranges down to 50 pA. With its advanced, scope-like triggering, and extended DC and resistance measurement range, this new DMM reportedly can satisfy advanced test systems' needs in avionics, automotive, semiconductors, storage, industrial and components and sensor manufacturing.
Its 24,000,000-counts dynamic range translates to 10-nV resolution, reportedly offering a wide workload due to its extensive measurement functionality. Features include 6-wire-guarded resistance, inductance and capacitance measurements (LCR), frequency and timing measurements, thermocouple and RTD measurements and V & I sourcing.
