Tyco Electronics Names Tam Marketing Manager for Asia-Pacific

Willow Grove, Pa. — Tyco Electronics Automation Group, a business segment of Tyco International Ltd., has added Mike Tam to its team.
In support of the growing customer demand for the TEAG products and services, Tam has joined as marketing manager for Asia/Pacific, and will be responsible for all TEAG sales and business development activities in South and Central Asia regions. In Central Asia, Tamwill cover China, Hong Kong and Taiwan; in the South, he will cover Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam and Indonesia. Tam, who spent the first four years of his career in AMP Hong Kong, followed by 12 years with AMP/Tyco in Thailand, brings with him a wealth of regional and customer knowledge. He most recently has been serving as the global application tooling division market manager, and has also served as a field engineering supervisor and manager for the region.
