Siemens to Exhibit at ATE
September 21, 2004 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Norcross, Ga. — Siemens Dematic AG announces that the SIPLACE HF/3 will be on display at the Assembly Technology Expo (ATE) exhibition and conference in Rosemont, Ill., from September 28 to 30 in booth number 5609.
The most recent addition to the industry-recognized SIPLACE HF series platform, the SIPLACE HF/3 placement machine features a placement speed of 40,000 components per hour with accuracy of 30 µm at 4 sigma, 180 feeder inputs and an extensive component range from 0201 up to 8" long connectors.
Depending on the volume requirements, the HF/3 can be used for an end-of-line or all-in-one machine solution. The new SIPLACE HF/3 is based on the proven SIPLACE platform and is equipped with all the features of the SIPLACE HF — the new placement head, transport system and drives.
Like the other two gantries, a third gantry can accept any available placement head, depending on the job requirements: an additional Twin-Head for even more flexibility, a six-segment Collect & Place head for more speed with larger components, or a 12-segment Collect & Place head for maximum speed with smaller components.
Siemens Dematic AG, based in Nuremberg/Germany, is the world's leading supplier of logistics and factory automation equipment. For more information, visit www.siemens-dematic.com.
