eDFX Services Selects Valor's High-end DFM Solution

Lake Forest and San Jose, Calif. — Valor Computerized Systems announces that eDFX Services Inc. selected Valor's Trilogy 5000 pre-production engineering solution to expand its service offering with high-end DFM (Design For Manufacturing) capabilities.
The company also announced that it has recognized eDFX as being its first Certified Design Partner, a new Valor initiative aimed at bringing certain best practices for the implementation of Valor's DFM solutions.eDFX specializes in highly complex hardware designs, PCB layouts and DFM services for system and semiconductor manufacturers. Valor's solution bridges the gap between CAD-to-Manufacturing for a more streamlined and coherent engineering process driven by the high-level ODB++ data exchange model. The Trilogy 5000 tool set enables eDFX to reduce revision spins, accelerate time-to-market, and speed up new product introductions for their customers.The selected system configuration includes industry-leading technologies such as Fabrication, Netlist and Assembly analysis, reportedly capable of performing more than 700 rules-based checks, based on actual manufacturing constraints.
