Hwang Appointed to Committee on Globalization of Materials Research

Cleveland — Jennie Hwang, Ph.D., an SMT Editorial Advisory Board member and president of H-Technologies Group Inc., has been appointed to the newly formed Committee on Globalization of Materials Research and Development of National Materials Advisory Board.
The board's primary tasks are:
- to assess the current situation and trends in materials research and development in the global community,
- to assess the forces and impacts of the globalization of materials research and development,
- to set strategies that the United States can use to maintain and keep a technological edge, and
- to identify advances and impact of technology on the U.S. economy and national security.
