JANOS Technology Announces New Director of Quality
November 25, 2003 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Townshend, Vt. — Following a nationwide search for a new director of quality, Janos Technology Inc. announces that Frederick Mullavey will be taking over the role and leading Janos' quality team to ISO 9000:2000 and AS9100:2001 certification.
Mullavey brings with him 16 years of experience in quality management and has a distinguished track record for developing and integrating certified, Six Sigma quality systems, for organizations including Quest Telecommunications in Phoenix, AlliedSignal Aerospace and the United States Navy.
Mullavey will be a contributing member of the executive team and report directly to Brett Rosner. Facilitating award-winning quality process teams, driving cost-saving techniques and prioritizing customer requirements is nothing new to Mullavey, who is a certified Six Sigma black belt, a lean manufacturing expert and ISO 9000 auditor. He also has published several ISO 9000 quality manuals and embraced business cultures clearly focused on customer satisfaction.
Mullavey received his bachelor's degree from Almeda College and University in Charlotte and maintains affiliation with the American Society for Quality.
Janos Technology Inc. is a premier manufacturer of precision optics including optical assemblies, diamond-turned and diffractive optics. For more information, visit www.janostech.com.
