Cookson Electronics and Ebara Corp. Announce Sale of Ebara Udylite

West Haven, Conn. and Tokyo — Cookson Electronics Inc. and Ebara Corp. announces the sale of Ebara Udylite Co. Ltd. to EU Holdings Co. Ltd.
EU Holdings acquired 100 percent of the stock of Ebara Udylite that was jointly owned by Ebara Corp. and Enthone Inc., a Cookson Electronics company. The agreement was completed on October 2, 2003.
Ebara Udylite was a joint venture company formed between Ebara and Enthone in 1966. Ebara Udylite was established to manufacture specialty chemicals for the metal finishing and printed wiring board industries. The two parent companies shared technology across a broad range of plating chemical products and targeted applications in electronics, automotive and other industrial markets.
