SMTA Pan Pacific Event Provides Exposure
July 24, 2003 |Estimated reading time: 2 minutes
Minneapolis — The Ninth Annual Pan Pacific Microelectronics Symposium and Exhibit (February 10 through 12, 2004, at the Turtle Bay Resort on Kahuku, Oahu, Hawaii) is an international event promoting the exchange of technical information and provides a forum for extensive networking among microelectronics professionals.
The technical agenda focuses on microelectronics packaging, interconnection and assembly technologies, and microsystems. The exhibition presents a remarkable opportunity to network and showcase products and services to top international industry professionals in an environment tailored to developing close working relationships. In addition to the exhibit space, signage and electric outlet, exhibit packages include all meals, the receptions and luau, public introductions of participant companies and attending personnel at the Welcome Reception, a complete list of symposium participants, and a full conference registration. Exhibits are open February 10 through 12, and the setting is designed to maximize exposure and time, as receptions, meal, and coffee breaks are held in the exhibit room, with food and beverage service dispersed throughout the tabletop exhibits.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available again this year to augment attending companies' presence during the symposium and exhibit. There are three levels of sponsorship available: Gold, Platinum and Silver.
The Gold Sponsorship is the highest level and limited to three sponsors, who each receive extensive exposure through mailings to more than 25,000 professionals throughout the world, graphical linkage from the Pan Pacific brochure on-line at smta.org, a company logo on the cover of the advance conference program, a half-page advertisement in the advance Pan Pacific conference program, a free banner ad on smta.org for three months, and one free conference pass to SMTA International.
The Platinum level is golf outing title sponsorship and limited to one company. The Platinum sponsor will co-host the outing and recognize the winners at one of the Pan Pacific evening receptions. Prime coverage will be included in the conference program, as well as on all printed materials with details on the golf outing. A complimentary golf outing foursome is also included with this sponsorship.
Silver sponsorships are each open to multiple sponsors and include recognition during events and activities such as the luau, the welcome reception, the recognition reception, coffee breaks and individual holes of the golf outing.
All sponsors receive announcement in January and February SMTAnews, recognition in the final conference program, one copy of the technical proceedings, designated sponsor signage throughout the event, priority tabletop placement (for participating exhibitors), and an SMTA sponsorship certificate.
Ever since the first symposium in 1996, the Pan Pacific has grown steadily and attracted over 150 participants each year from 15 countries throughout Europe, the Americas and the Pacific Basin. It is an excellent mix of the traditional technical conference format for engineers and the social gathering format for buyers and suppliers each.
The SMTA membership is a network of professionals who build skills, share practical experience, and develop solutions in electronic assembly technologies and related business operations. For more information, visit www.smta.org.
