Jabil Circuit Deploys Tradec's Cost Management Solution

Jabil Circuit is leveraging Tradec to improve customer responsiveness by accelerating their supplier quotation and customer proposal process. In addition, Jabil is leveraging Tradec's commodity cost management capabilities to more efficiently and effectively manage the cost of direct material.
The Tradec solution allows Jabil's Material Quote Analysts and Global Commodity Managers to collaborate online with its 5,000 suppliers while sharing and leveraging data across all worldwide locations. With TCMS, Jabil expects to significantly reduce its average quote turnaround. Jabil is also leveraging Tradec's commodity cost management capabilities to more efficiently and effectively manage commodity costs to accelerate their cost reduction cycles, negotiate more effectively, lower their direct material spend, and strengthen relationships with preferred suppliers.
