Cogiscan Names Benoit Ouellet as Software Engineering Manager
April 16, 2003 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Quebec -- Cogiscan has appointed Benoit Ouellet as software engineering manager for their complete line of material tracking and control systems.
Ouellet will be responsible for the software development group, as well as software quality at the company's Quebec headquarters.
Prior to this position, Ouellet most recently worked for IBM as a programmer, where he specialized in assembly line integration and inventory management applications. Upon moving to Cogiscan, he established the framework for RF tag detection, material tracking, and user-interface. In the short time Ouellet has been at Cogiscan, the software engineering team has doubled in size, and productivity is steadily increasing.
At Cogiscan, Ouellet joins a management team with a combined process management experience of nearly 50 years in PCB assembly, semiconductor packaging and related manufacturing. Ouellet holds a bachelor's degree in computer science, with a minor in business administration, from Sherbrooke University in Quebec, Canada.
Cogiscan designs and manufactures material tracking systems for the electronics manufacturing market, where it is fast becoming the global standard for moisture sensitive device (MSD) control and material tracking. For more information, visit www.cogiscan.com.
