Frost & Sullivan Honors Omron with AOI Equipment Market Engineering Leadership Award

Schaumburg, Ill. -- Omron Corp. is the recipient of the 2003 Frost & Sullivan Market Engineering Leadership Award for the automated optical inspection (AOI) equipment market.
With 12 percent market share in 2002, Omron retains its overall leadership position of market share in the AOI market. To choose the recipient of the award, Frost & Sullivan analysts evaluated market share, revenue growth rates, profitability, and market and technology innovation.
