Richardson Electronics Named Value-Added Distributor for NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics Display

LaFox and Itasca, Ill. -- Richardson Electronics has signed a value added distribution agreement with NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics Display of America.
The agreement includes NEC-Mitsubishi's newest series of monitors for the information display market, the NEC LCD-3000 (29.5 viewable image size).
The agreement further expands Richardson's longstanding relationship with NEC-Mitsubishi as in January 2002, the company was also named a select integrator for NEC-Mitsubishi. With the value added distributor and select integrator agreements, Richardson will now be able to offer customers an even higher level of increased customization options. NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics Display of America Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tokyo-based NEC-Mitsubishi Electric Visual Systems Corp., a joint venture company established by NEC Corp. and Mitsubishi Electric Corp.
