SMTA Certification Program Launches

Minneapolis -- After much development, the SMTA recently launched two certification programs, one for SMT Processes and one for SMT Systems.
They are intended for engineers with at least one year of SMT experience and competence in engineering mathematics.
The SMT Processes debuted during SMTA International 2002. Both SMT Processes and SMT Systems will be offered throughout 2003 over the following dates at the following locations:
- January 13-17 at Smith's Aerospace in Clearwater, Fla.
- March 11-13 at International Centre in Toronto, Ontario, in conjunction with the Canadian High Tech Show.
- April 1-4 at the Anaheim Marriott Hotel in Anaheim, Calif.
- May 19-22 at Manufacturers' Services Ltd. in Arden Hills, Minn.
- June 9-11 at the Bayside Convention Center in Boston, Mass., in conjunction with SMTA Boston and NEPCON East.
- September 22-25 at the Donald Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill., in conjunction with SMTA International and ATExpo.
