Xanoptix, Tyco Electronics Sign Strategic Marketing and Sales Agreement

Merrimack, N.H. and Harrisburg, Pa. -- Xanoptix and Tyco Electronics have formed a multi-year, multi-million dollar joint strategic business agreement to promote Xanoptix's XTM Series of optical transceiver products.
This strategic alliance enables Xanoptix and Tyco Electronics to provide the next generation of parallel optics transceiver modules, using optically integrated circuit technology with fused silicon chips and high performance active optics. This partnership paves the way for Tyco Electronics to manufacture transceivers with Xanoptix Technology. The benefits provided by the Xanoptix Technology are revolutionary to the fiber optic industry overall.
The XTM Series is comprised of parallel optics transceiver modules that offer up to 72 channels terminated in a single MT style fiber optic connector with up to 245 gigabits/second aggregate bandwidth. Xanoptix is dedicated to revolutionizing both the electronics and optics industries through the combination of traditional electronic integrated circuits and high performance optics.
