OK International Refocuses Businesses to Concentrate on Electronics and Growth Industries

Menlo Park, Calif. -- OK International will focus on future business activities that strengthen their position in the electronics and PCB assembly industries, as well as explore opportunities in other growth markets.
To meet new goals, OK International will be closing the offices of its OK Industries division in Mount Vernon, N.Y. by March 31, 2003. OK Industries' core business is the telecommunications industry and the product line and service levels will be maintained while internal changes in logistics and procedures are made.
OK International will continue to serve the electronics, medical device, automotive and aerospace, as well as investigate other potential markets, through their Metcal, Techcon, Semtronics and Impell divisions.
