QUINCY, MA - e4eNet, Inc. has announced that SCI Systems, Inc., a leading provider of electronic manufacturing services, has entered into a joint development partnership for engineering collaboration services. e4eNet has assembled a group of leaders in the electronics industry to focus on streamlining engineering data review via the internet. Through this partnership, SCI will use the e4eNet services to facilitate internal and external collaboration and round out its requirements for NPI tools. e4eNet offers Web-based engineering collaboration over the internet between manufacturers, customers, and suppliers. The service enables design engineers using any EDA platform to present and review the entire engineering and manufacturing data package with their suppliers. This allows an OEM to take advantage of supplier expertise, and from the feedback, quickly and easily implement design modifications to improve yields, reduce cost, and bring products to market faster.
