Flash Named to Prestigious List
December 31, 1969 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
FREMONT, Calif. - Flash Electronics Inc. was named to the IWGC 25 List for 1999. To be eligible for the list, which honors the 25 most successful small manufacturing firms in the United States, companies must have fewer than 500 employees, been in business for at least three years, be independent and have headquarters in the United States.
"The IWGC 25 companies are recognized for their exemplary management of the many disciplines required of a modern, growing manufacturer," said John R. Brandt, IW Growing Companies editor-in-chief.
Ed Hayes, vice president for corporate development at Flash, commented, "As we grow larger, our challenge will be to keep the responsiveness and personal interaction of a small company. We want to lead the tier of [CM] companies who can efficiently serve the faster growing, newer OEMs, as well as small- to mid-sized divisions of established, Fortune 100-type companies. Our strategy is to stay lean and responsive, hire experienced professionals, and above all, grow by helping our OEM customers become successful."
