November 16, 2015 | LACROIX ElectronicsEstimated reading time: 1 minute
At the FDI Awards Gala on 15 October in Warsaw LACROIX Electronics Poland was awarded the prize of Top French Investor of the Year. The prize was given by an independent jury consisting of 24 Commercial Counsellors from the Embassies supported by country specialists, Ambassadors and investment specialists.
Several criteria were used to decide between the companies. Of course the amount of investment and the number of employees in Poland were taken into account, but the ability to innovate, commitment to the Polish economy and the position of company leader in the business sector were also considered. LACROIX Electronics was recommended by the region of Pomerania - a partner of the Foreign Investment and Information Agency in Poland - and has made a particular impact with its growth in recruitment and investment in new technologies. As a result of its product quality, innovation and respect for customer requirements the Kwidzyn factory, which specialises in electronics subcontracting for the automobile and industrial markets, has seen a rapid growth in the number of employees and in its turnover.
Currently the factory has 12,000 m² of covered premises and employs 1600 people. The growth and expansion of the production site has enabled the company to strengthen its position in Europe and attract new customers.
LACROIX Electronics intends to continue increasing its market share and the development of its business in Poland.
This recognitions comes in addition to the trophy awarded by the Polish Labour Minister, Mr. Władysław KosiniakKamysz, on 1st July within the context of the "Top Employer Awards" where LACROIX Electronics was rewarded for its contribution to job creation and its human resources policy by the award of first prize in the Large Companies in the Industry Sector category.
