VirTex Appoints New Business Development Manager
April 28, 2016 | VirTexEstimated reading time: 1 minute
Electronic Manufacturing Service (EMS) Provider VirTex, announced today that William Ryczkowski has been appointed New Business Development Manager, effective from 18 April 2016. William Ryczkowski brings a wealth of experience and a strong industry network to VirTex. He previously worked in Business Development at Surface Mount Technology Corporation for over five years, in various commercial roles.
In relation to his new appointment Ryczkowski commented, “I am very happy to join VirTex and to have the opportunity to innovatively fulfill the manufacturing needs of our current and future customers in the aerospace/defense, automotive, industrial and medical markets. The customer base served by VirTex and the capability roadmap is a perfect fit for the regional Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) located in the Midwest. Having grown up in the Midwest, I have a great deal of respect for the number of companies with humble roots that have expanded to become world influencers in their respective industries. I am looking forward to working on New Product Introduction (NPI) and the integration of electronics into established products, allowing these brands to continue to grow and carry on providing the highest quality product to their end customer.
In recent years, there has been a real shift in manufacturing in the Midwest. There has always been a strong work ethic and a sharp, focused attention to detail, but what was once known as a mainly agricultural and machining region, is now a recognized high tech cluster.”
Vice President of Business Development at VirTex, Rick Polansky remarked “We are thrilled to bring such an enthusiastic and engaging person into the VirTex team. This appointment underlines our long-term commitment to further developing regional manufacturing and a smart supply chain solution. His knowledge and understanding of the electronic manufacturing services industry will enhance our current business model and maximize the value of our design, development and distribution offering. William’s addition to our company is further evidence of our continued commitment to attracting outstanding talent as we build for the future."
