Electronic Systems has received the Governor’s Safety Award for Outstanding Achievement. Electronic Systems accepted the award on behalf of its associates that have made the award possible by efforts put in each day to ensure a safe work environment for all.
Sponsored by the South Dakota Safety Council, the Governor’s Workplace Safety Award is given to companies in the State of South Dakota based upon specific criteria for DART rate, Incidence rate, and a comprehensive Safety Program Evaluation Scorecard.
Companies showing a DART rate and Incidence rate which is at least 51-90% better than average for their industry classification and a total score of between 75 and 90 on the Safety Program Evaluation Scorecard are considered for the Outstanding Achievement Award. Awards are given based on the criteria above at the discretion of the Awards Judging Committee; which consists of experienced workplace safety and health professionals.
“We are proud to receive the award for Outstanding Achievement this year,” said Greg Adams, manufacturing manager. “This award is a direct reflection of ESI’s commitment to workplace safety, and the hard work that our associates have put into the development and continuous improvement of our safety program.”
