Stadium Appoints New Finance Director

Stadium Group plc announces the appointment of Rex Orton, ACA as Group Finance Director and Company Secretary, with immediate effect.
Rex was previously Finance Director of Latchways plc, the designer and manufacturer of fall protection systems and access solutions. Latchways was listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange until its sale for £124 million to MSA Safety Incorporated in October 2015. Rex was appointed to the board of Latchways in April 1999 and during his time with the company, held full board level responsibility for, among other things, all aspects of Finance, Investor Relations and IT. In addition, Rex had primary responsibility for the execution and integration of several successful acquisitions.
Rex qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand and went on to become Group Financial Reporting Supervisor at Exxon Chemical / Esso Petroleum in 1992. In 1996, Rex became Financial Controller of Parker Bath Limited, a subsidiary of Sunrise Medical Inc., a US medical products company, before joining Latchways three years later.
