Dynamic EMS Invests in New Hi-Res Inline Optical Inspection Equipment
April 19, 2017 | Dynamic EMS LtdEstimated reading time: 2 minutes
In line with Dynamic EMS's company strategy for ongoing investment in best practice technology, John Dignan, Managing Director, has announced the arrival of their new LRD Falcon Optical Inspection System. By investing in both AOI and X-Ray inspection strategies, Dynamic EMS ensures that their customers products are manufactured to best in class quality.
Dynamic EMS aims to deliver the highest standard of excellence in contract electronic manufacturing service (EMS) to their customers and they understand that visual inspection plays an important role in this. The company’s operational policy and key performance indicators (KPIs) maintain that they inspect 100% of products. To drive and deliver to their test strategy, their automated optical inspection (AOI) systems are a reliable quality gate, early in their manufacturing process, to minimize the opportunity of defects in final build.
Deploying AOI ensures that the company has full monitor, control and feedback in their manufacturing process.
The LRD Falcon offers a full inline camera based system with the ability to inspect almost any component. The equipment combines first-rate mechanical stability, with the latest in 64bit software, to give a truly unique inspection solution in today’s global market. This is all backed up by one of the world’s most intuitive programming and operating interfaces.
The LRD Falcon combines all its systems with tried and tested rework and traceability solutions, to provide users with a complete picture of their manufacturing process.
In relation to Dynamic EMS's latest investment in technology, Dignan commented, "Dynamic EMS operates complementary test methodologies and, utilizing the expertise of the in-house Test Development team, we can help you develop a test strategy that will ensure our customers products are fully tested and verified to meet specification prior to shipment. Testing is deeply embedded in our organisation and we aim to drive costs down by eliminating the opportunity for defects in the build process. The LRD Falcon system achieves this strategic intent."
David Erskine, Sales Manager at Detech Europe Ltd, said, "Automation is the key to success in today's PCB production environment. With increasing demand to drive down costs and maintain high quality, the LRD Falcon AOI provides a world leading cost-effective answer. LRD Systems offer a range of solutions to meet the requirements of every production facility and has put AOI within affordable reach of all manufacturers."
