Kimball Electronics Receives Category Partner Award from Cummins

Jasper, Indiana-based EMS firm Kimball Electronics Inc. was recently presented with a Category Partner Award by customer Cummins Inc. for its "superior performance with a commitment to deliver value."
KE representatives received the award during a periodic business review at Cummins' world headquarters in Columbus, Indiana.
"It is truly an honor to be recognized by a company like Cummins. Much like us, they are headquartered in Indiana and have a vast global reach while still maintaining their Indiana roots," says Chris Thyen, Vice President of Global Business Development, Kimball Electronics.
The two companies periodically meet to review their ongoing relationship, especially regarding the manufacturing services provided by Kimball Electronics’ manufacturing facility in Nanjing, China. Kimball Electronics’ Nanjing operation serves Cummins by manufacturing and distributing After Treatment Control Modules that are designed to reduce the emission levels on mid and large size trucks in North America, Europe and Asia regions.
