Optimal Electronics Adds Robotics Expert to Its Industry 4.0 Team

Optimal Electronics Corp. has expanded its Industry 4.0 team with the addition of Mile Ostojic as the company's new expert for robotic applications. Ostojic has more than 30 years of R&D and application experience in control systems, robotics and automation.
Ranko Vujosevic, Founder and CEO at Optimal Electronics, commented, "I have known Mile for 30 years. We started out in the industry together and we are going to work together again on some exciting Industry 4.0 applications. We both love to see advanced research results applied in industrial settings, and Mile's ability to come up with original, smart and feasible ideas will contribute to our Industry 4.0 projects."
Ostojic has worked in industry and government research labs in Yugoslavia, Japan, Canada and Germany. His previous position was with General Electric in Germany, working on R&D in mechatronic systems for automated manufacturing from composite materials. He has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Theory of Mechanisms and Machines, and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Automatic Control.
