EMS provider Vexos Corp.'s manufacturing facility in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, in China has achieved registration to the latest quality management (ISO 9001:2015), environmental management (ISO 14001:2015) and safety management (OHSAS 18001:2007) standards from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). These certifications followed several days of intensive audits by an accredited ISO Registrar.
"This certification reflects our commitment to quality, environmental and safety management systems within our organizations as a global company. This also reflects our unrelenting commitment to our customers and our mission – is to continuously add value by providing integrated solutions for our customers and our suppliers," said Paul Jona, president and CEO.
Compared to ISO 9001:2008, the latest version of ISO 9001:2015 further emphasizes risk based thinking, a process approach, improvement, and leadership. Based on the new common High-Level Structure (HLS), ISO 9001:2015 certification provides a foundation for Vexos’s integrated business management system, which includes certifications for environmental management (ISO 14000 Series) and safety management (OHSAS 18000 Series).
"Vexos's commitment to quality, the environment & safety in our manufacturing processes continues to drive our company to new heights as demonstrated by our new ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & OHSAS 18001:2007 certifications," said Kaspars Fricbergs, vice president for global quality. "We are proud of the continuous improvement, innovation and efforts we are taking to provide our customers with the highest quality service in the many different markets we serve today."

05/26/2025 | Dan Beaulieu -- Column: It's Only Common SenseAll I hear about is price, and I have to ask: Is that all you have? Do you think there’s no difference between what you and your competitor do, except for price? I understand it’s tempting to focus on price as a primary selling point, but it’s not the most important thing customers care about.
