Enics Elva Receives Family-Friendly Employer Award
September 26, 2017 | EnicsEstimated reading time: 1 minute
The Ministry of Social Affairs in Estonia has recognized Enics Elva with the silver level label of Family-Friendly Employer. The award demonstrates that the employer values employees' wishes and is ready to contribute to their well-being.
To receive the label, the selected employers passed an ex-ante evaluation and developed an action plan on how they would make the organization's work culture more family-friendly.
"I am thrilled that Enics Eesti received the label of Family Friend Employer," says Eveli Punnison, human resources manager at Enics Elva. "As the biggest private employer in Southern Estonia, the well-being of our employees has always been in focus, and the received label proves that. Currently, we have tens of activities in the process to further improve in this field. For example increasing the flexibility of production workers’ working time, reintegration of the parents with small children back to work, supporting our employees with childcare services, and a strong focus on occupational health."
From 2017, the Ministry of Social Affairs in Estonia provides the Family-Friendly Employer label that can be applied by all employers in Estonia from private and public sectors and civil associations. In its first year, the label was given to 43 employers.
