OrthoAccel has honored Kimball Electronics–Thailand with the Outstanding Supplier of the Year 2017 award for its outstanding performance in quality and services supporting OrthoAccel. Jeff Layton, chief operating officer of OrthoAccel, presented the award.
"I want to thank all of employees for your contribution. Without your hard work and dedication, we would not have won such a prestigious award and you should all be proud," said Meechai Charatpattanawong, general manager for Kimball Electronics–Thailand.
Don Charron, chief executive officer for Kimball Electronics, echoed that sentiment. "Congratulations to the Kimball Electronics–Thailand team and to everyone who helped make this possible! I am so proud of how our team stayed focused and worked hard to make the product launch for AcceleDent Optima a huge success. Thank you for your hard work and dedication!"
Kimball Electronics–Thailand has successfully supported the launch of the new generation of AcceleDent Optima, which is a finished orthodontic medical device (FDA class 2). Kimball Electronics manufactures the electronics for both the Optima device and charger as well as supports the complete device assembly, test, and packaging for various market configurations.
AcceleDent Optima is the most advanced accelerated orthodontic device with a comprehensive suite of technology driven features. AcceleDent Optima’s patented SoftPulse Technology applies precisely calibrated vibrations called micropulses that transmit through the roots of teeth to the surrounding bone.
This gentle vibration increases the cellular activity and speeds the rate in which teeth can move. AcceleDent Optima is clinically shown to speed up tooth movement by as much as 50% while reducing orthodontic discomfort. Additionally, AcceleDent Optima is the first and only orthodontic device that directly connects patients and orthodontic practices via the state-of-the-art AcceleDent App.
