Bill Astle, president of JAS, Inc., presented the award to David Murphy at the Juki awards banquet held during the Juki Americas National Sales meeting that took place at Juki’s facility in Fremont, California.
Juki Regional Sales Manager Greg Lefebvre commented about the award, “A well-deserved award for all of Dave’s hard work in 2016-2017. With many new products on the horizon, we are looking for him to continue his success for a strong 2018 campaign.”

Instead of discrete leads, BGAs rely on solder balls on the underside of the package to connect to the PCB. In some advanced designs, solder balls are on both the PCB and the BGA package. In stacked configurations, such as package-on-package (PoP), these solder balls also interconnect multiple packages, enabling higher functionality in a smaller footprint.
