PVA to Feature the Latest in Automated Dispensing and Coating Systems at IPC APEX EXPO 2018
February 13, 2018 | PVAEstimated reading time: 1 minute
PVA (Precision Valve & Automation, Inc.), a global manufacturer of automated conformal coating and precision dispensing systems, will be highlighting their latest technology at IPC APEX EXPO, February 27 – March 1 in San Diego, California.
PVA will be located in Booth 1719 and will feature several automated systems that can be used for a diverse range of applications. The display will include PVA’s patented fourth axis technology, the new SJ100, a selective conformal coating jet, and two new, two-part conformal coating and dispensing valves. The PCS150 is a two-component spray valve designed to apply reactive coatings. Its compact design and small wetted fluid path allows for processing of short pot life chemistries. “We continue to see an increase in demand for multi-component coatings due to their great adhesion and fast cure properties”, stated Jon Urquhart, PVA’s Director of Application Engineering.
The PC150 is a compact dispense valve designed for low to medium viscosity two-part materials. Both the PCS150 and PC150 can be utilized with PVA’s fourth axis option.
As well as displaying equipment at IPC APEX, Urquhart has been selected to present at the conference on March 1st. Jon will be covering how to implement two component conformal coatings into high volume production. To register, visit the IPC APEX, click here.
