Joe Benz Named Director of Operations for Intervala

Joe Benz has joined Intervala LLC as director of operations. Benz’s career in operations management and engineering spans more than 30 years in a variety of technology driven industries, including medical, industrial, commercial, and military. In this newly created role, Benz will lead Intervala’s electronics manufacturing operations with responsibility for production, production control, and manufacturing engineering, and will direct continuous improvement initiatives and programs for the Company. He reports to Chief Operating Officer Scott Gustafson.
Benz joined Intervala from Conelec Electronic Manufacturing where he served as vice president of operations. He previously was employed as operations manager for Ducommun LaBarge Technologies, Inc., and its predecessor LaBarge, Inc. During his extensive career, Benz also held operations management and engineering positions with Sound Technology Inc., C-COR, Inc., and Moog Inc. He earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York.
