Sparton DeLeon Springs Earns Raytheon's 4-Star Supplier Excellence Award

Sparton Corporation and its DeLeon Springs, FL facility were recognized for outstanding performance as a supplier to Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) at the Supplier Excellence Conference held in Boston, Massachusetts on May 17, 2018.
Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems business instituted the annual Supplier Excellence Awards program to recognize suppliers who have provided outstanding service and partnership in exceeding customer requirements. Award candidates are judged on certain criteria, including overall quality and on-time delivery. Sparton DeLeon Springs was one of 55 companies recognized by Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems business for 4-Star honors.
Sparton DeLeon Springs, LLC, a leader in the design, development, and manufacture of sonobuoy systems for the U.S. Navy, is at the forefront of technologies that align with the Defense Department’s Undersea and Ground Warfare Technology roadmaps. Sparton’s nearly 200,000 sq. ft. DeLeon Springs facility is uniquely qualified to handle projects for the Defense Department and prime contractors in the design and manufacturing of engineered products. Sparton DLS supports Raytheon’s AMNS and Barracuda programs.
