Sigalarm provides communities with high-voltage power line warning systems and proximity alarms to reduce unnecessary contact with power lines. In an effort to keep up with the growing demand for its products and services, Sigalarm recently underwent a comprehensive search for an additional local contract manufacturer. It has announced its new production relationship with EMS firm Quality Manufacturing Services Inc. (QMS).
“QMS represents the quality Sigalarm customers demand,” said Sigalarm President Lance Burney. “We’re thrilled to be entrusting this organization with our growing manufacturing needs. It’s our hope that our two companies will continue working together for years to come.”
QMS has a campus that encompasses 44,000 square-feet in Lake Mary, Florida, just 5 miles from Sigalarm's headquarters. QMS is known for manufacturing state-of-the-art electronics and has worked in a variety of industries, including defense, automotive, and infrastructure. Also, QMS employees own the organization; they pride themselves on their integrity and accountability. All QMS employees know their contributions do matter to the organization's bottom line.
Along with world-class contract manufacturing capabilities, QMS will provide premier manufacturing equipment, static dissipative flooring, 5S organizational strategy, an active FOD (Foreign Object Damage) prevention plan, environmental impact self-containment programs, and lean manufacturing techniques.
