Kimball Electronics-Fabrication (KEFAB) has achieved IATF TS16949:2016 certification for its quality management system (QMS).
IATF 16949:2016 is a standard that establishes the requirements for a QMS, specifically for the automotive sector. The certification allows automotive suppliers and manufacturers to identify best practices when designing, manufacturing, and assembling automotive products.
"This was a team accomplishment that involved nearly every KEFAB team member in some way, and I couldn’t be more proud of our team for reaching this goal," stated Doug Payne, general manager of Kimball Electronics-Fabrication.
"IATF TS16949 certification should give our customers confidence that our business systems operate in a way that meets an internationally recognized standard.
