SMTC Names Terry Wegman Senior VP of Sales and Marketing

SMTC Corporation has appointed Terry Wegman as senior vice president sales and marketing.
Wegman brings to SMTC Corporation an extensive track record of success in sales and marketing that he built over a 30-year career. In his most recent assignment at Avnet, a global technology solutions company with annual sales approaching $20 billion, Wegman led sales teams in the U.S. and Canada. He earned his Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Economics and Computer Sciences at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
“Terry is a seasoned sales and marketing executive who joins the SMTC leadership team with exceptional experience, skills and customer and supply chain relationships,” said SMTC President and CEO, Ed Smith. “Having worked with Terry before, we are certainly excited to have him join us at SMTC, and we look forward to his contributions as we execute our plans to develop existing and new markets and build out our roster of long-lasting customer relationships.”
