PCB Firm Apex Looks to Automotive, 10-layer Boards for Growth

Apex International expects its automotive and 10-layer board products to drive the future growth of the Taiwan-invested PCB maker in Thailand, according to Digitimes.
Costs on PCB materials such as CCLs have been rising over the past two years, said Apex CEO Bill Chou, adding that the company has been optimizing its production efficiency to cut its overall manufacturing costs by about 5%. Apex will be able to see its gross margin increase in 2018 despite rising materials prices, the report added.
