The Comet Group has been recognized with two 2018 Mexico Technology Awards in the categories of Test Services and Technology Innovation for its new Lab One technology and application center in Silicon Valley. The awards were presented to the company during a Wednesday, November 14, 2018 ceremony that took place during the SMTA Guadalajara Expo & Tech Forum.
Lab One brings together RF Power, X-ray/CT, ebeam, and a broad spectrum of expertise under one roof. The unique value of Lab One, however, is the space it offers for promoting inspiration, for carrying out tests and for developing new applications.
The systems available in Lab One accelerate the development processes for customers. Thanks to Lab One, the Comet Group as a whole is making further progress in the areas of innovation and collaboration. Additionally, plasma chambers will allow Lab One to study plasma phenomena, and together with the diagnostic and control facilities, will enable customers to increase their knowledge about plasma behavior and help them to develop better products.
The Mexico Technology Awards recognize the best new innovations in the electronics manufacturing industry in Mexico. The goal of the award program is to celebrate the companies and people that are achieving the highest standards and driving the industry forward.
