Flex Wins Gold Award for SSON’s Best Shared Services Team

Flex’s global business services (GBS) team in India has received the shared services and outsourcing network’s (SSON) Shared Services Team - Gold Award. The award was presented to Flex during the 21st Asian Shared Services & Outsourcing Week held at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore on November 14, 2018.
Each year, SSON recognizes the achievements of Shared Services Centers and service delivery teams that demonstrate exceptional performance and exceed industry standards.
“We are delighted to have received this recognition from SSON, the largest and most established community of shared services and outsourcing professionals in the world. This award is a reflection of our team’s passion and commitment to providing true value to our more than 100 Flex sites across 30 countries globally,” said Ashutosh Arora, vice president and managing director, global business services, Flex India. He added, “Flex GBS Guadalajara, Mexico also won SSON’s Excellence in Process Improvement award earlier this year and GBS Shenzhen, China garnered multiple SSON awards in 2014, 2015 and 2017.”
Flex GBS India has centers in Pune and Chennai staffed by more than 5,600 employees that provide centralized services in support of Flex’s global operation in the areas of finance, information technology, engineering and quality, human resources, program management and global procurement and supply chain.
