Amphenol Invotec, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of mission-critical PCBs for a range of industries including aerospace and defense, once again supported the main armed services charities by donating to the MBDA Charity Dinner.
The event is designed to raise money for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity, ABF The Soldiers' Charity and the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund as well as several local charities that operate close to MBDA’s UK sites in Bolton, Bristol and Stevenage.
The dinner has been run by MBDA for over 20 years and this year it raised over £1.8 million.
MBDA is Europe’s leading developer and manufacturer of missile systems designed to meet the operational requirements of the three armed forces, land, sea and air. Formed in 2001 through the merger of Matra Bae Dynamics and the missile and missile systems activities of Alenia Marconi Systems, MBDA acquired the German firm, LFK, a unit of what was then EADS Defence and Security Systems in 2006.
