Advanced Electric Technology Opens New Facility in Ayer, Massachusetts

A new contract assembly company will open its doors in Ayer, Massachusetts this month. Advanced Electric Technology is a fully equipped brand-new facility. It will offer all CEM services, including surface mount, through-holes, NPI, BGA and micro-BGA, prototypes, quick turn, cable and wiring assemblies, box builds, sorting and reworking of assembled boards.
The company is owned by Giap Tran, an indigenous Khmer Krom from Vietnam who will be seeking its minority-owned status from the Department of Defense (DoD).
When making the announcement, Tran said, “We are delighted to be able to announce the opening of our company, Advanced Electric Technology (AET). It has always been a dream of mine to open a company in the U.S. A company that will make a difference in my community by providing steady jobs for the locals to building products that will make the better place. I look forward working with and servicing our customers, both today and in the future. I am please to say, ‘We are open for business!’”
