Enics Appoints Elke Eckstein as President and CEO

Elke Eckstein is appointed Enics president and CEO from April 1, 2019 onwards. Eckstein has been a member of the board of directors since 2017 and is now taking up the role as president and CEO, driving the sustainable success of Enics customers together with Enics team.
Eckstein has an extensive career and background in electronics, lighting and semiconductor industries. Prior to Enics, she has been working as a member of the management board, COO and CDO at Weidmueller Group and in various executive management positions in operations, supply chain and R&D at OSRAM, AMD, Altis Semiconductors and Siemens.
Besides her operational assignments, she has held several positions of trust in listed and non-listed companies across Europe and is member of the advisory board of the Diesel CTO Forum.

I am looking forward to my new task to lead Enics to the next level in sustainable customer experience, excellence and growth in industrial electronics arena,” says Elke Eckstein.
Lasse Heinonen, chairman of the board of directors of Enics, is welcoming Eckstein in her new role: “Elke has been involved in Enics strategy update process since the beginning and her appointment ensures a smooth continuation of the strategy execution already started. This is important for Enics, we want to be a sustainable and reliable long-term partner to our customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.” He is also thanking Petri Suikkanen, interim president and CEO for his contribution: “On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Petri Suikkanen and the whole Enics team at this stage for their work during the transition period. Petri will continue in his role as SVP and CFO after Eckstein starts as president and CEO.”
Eckstein will start her Enics journey by meeting her key business partners and employees and all other stakeholders enabling Enics success. Enics board of directors is wishing the best of success to Eckstein in her new position.
