Taiwan PCB makers lack new growth momentum to spur demand during the transition to the 5G era, according to a Digitimes report.
PCB makers still managed to maintain steady revenue results for traditional low season in the first quarter, but their longer-term order visibility remains unclear due to clients slowing down taking delivery of shipments without giving timetables for the next wave of order placements. Such an undesirable situation is affecting makers of rigid PCBs, flexible boards and IC substrates, Digitimes adds.
