Refreshed August Electronics Brand Highlights Local Manufacturing Option
May 23, 2019 | PRNewswireEstimated reading time: 2 minutes
August Electronics launched its new brand identity today, emphasizing its place in the market as a strategic local partner throughout the product development lifecycle.
"Our new brand represents an important step in our journey to become a world-class electronics manufacturing services (EMS) partner," said Mike Desrochers, VP, Business Development and Marketing of August Electronics. The brand refresh builds on nearly 30 years of experience, quality management, and operational expertise to create an "exciting future ready for scalable growth," he added.
The August Electronics advantage is manufacturing tailored to advance clients' business goals, with flexibility at the core of the delivery model.
"We're here to help our clients succeed—this starts with recognizing that each client comes with different needs and goals for their product. Through ongoing collaboration, we function as a true extension of their team. Our new tagline conveys our intent well—Forward Together," said company CEO Tanya Korenda.
Korenda added that August offers an attractive local option for electronics manufacturing that is competitive and with less risk than going overseas.
"Often, companies think they have to go to Asia-Pacific for cost-effective manufacturing, which is really not the case. With August, they can produce great quality products right here in their own backyard. We are continually working to evaluate and improve our processes, upgrade our equipment, and expand our capacity to serve a diversified client base," she added.
The August Electronics vision is to become a trusted partner and recognized industry leader for electronic manufacturing services. With this, August Electronics has also refined its organizational values and expanded their team to add the expertise of several experienced VP and Director level employees.
