Yamaha Motor Europe, SMT Section Appoints Sole Agent for Germany

Yamaha Motor Europe SMT Section has announced that ANS-Answer Elektronik is to become the sole independent sales agent in Germany for Yamaha surface-mount equipment.
ANS-Answer Elektronik serves a large customer base spanning German high-technology design and manufacturing, and so is positioned to raise the profile of the Yamaha True Total Line Solution among OEMs and electronic manufacturing services (EMS) businesses. The Agreement, also extends to northern Switzerland, where ANS-Answer Elektronik will sell only the iPulse hybrid 2D/3D mounters from Yamaha.
Yamaha expects the new exclusive agreement to boost the established successful sales record through stronger and closer coordination of sales, logistics, and technical activities. “Working solely with ANS-Answer Elektronik will enable us to focus our presence in Germany and northern Switzerland, and further improve our service to the electronics community in the region,” said Ichiro Arimoto, General Manager of Yamaha Motor Europe, SMT section.
Yamaha’s True Total Line Solution delivers flexibility and advanced automation for Europe’s electronic manufacturers to ensure world-class productivity. The portfolio comprises modular printers and mounters with intelligent peripherals, iPulse S10/S20 and M10/M20 hybrid configurable multi-head mounters for 2D and 3D substrates, optical and X-ray inspection systems, and automated component handling. Sharing a common software platform, they are unified by rich inter-machine communication and innovative Y.FacT factory-automation tools to aid setup, real-time diagnostics, and data analytics.

Yamaha Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Section is a subdivision of Yamaha Motor Robotics Business Unit in Yamaha Motor Corporation.
