Kitron CEO Peter Nilsson will be resuming his duties following treatment for cancer in September, 2019. Kitron previously had posted a stock exchange notice on 3 January, 2019, regarding Nilsson's decision to go on medical leave until the end of June 2019 for cancer treatment.
While treatment has progressed according to the plan and is in its final phases, the medical leave will be extended until the last treatment phase is concluded, which is now estimated to be the end of September. Mr. Nilsson is expected to resume his duties as Kitron CEO on 30 September 2019.
