June 6, 2019 | AirBorn Inc.Estimated reading time: 1 minute
AirBorn’s six product manufacturing facilities have completed the process for multisite, AS9100 Rev D and ISO 9001:2015 certifications.
The global inspection firm SGS audited AirBorn’s facilities in Addison and Georgetown, Texas; Akron, Ohio; Lake City, Pennsylvania; Little Falls, Minnesota; and Taunton, Massachusetts, where they found the current processes to be in accordance with AS9100 Rev D and ISO 9001:2015.
“This certification illustrates AirBorn’s continued commitment to providing our customers quality products and unmatched service while continually striving to improve our internal processes and procedures,” AirBorn President and COO Michael Cole said.
Each facility previously held individual AS9100 D certifications, however this latest certification marks the first time AirBorn’s US manufacturing facilities have been evaluated and certified as one entity.
“Providing our customers with the same level of uncompromising quality, regardless of manufacturing location, is at the core of our company’s mission,” explained Christine Mason, VP of Quality / Continuous Improvement. “This certification is a testament to dedication and determination of our team members across the country.”

Its components can be found on the moon, Mars and the International Space Station as well as in tanks, warships, next generation fighter jets and in hospital emergency rooms.
AirBorn’s core business is engineering & manufacturing specialized connectors & electronic components for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) worldwide.
