PCB manufacturer Wus Printed Circuit has put increased its focus on high-end offerings including those for automotive and network equipment applications, and the efforts are bearing fruit, Digitimes reported.
Wus swung to monthly profits in May, when the Taiwan-based company's revenues increased 3% sequentially but slipped 1.6% from a year earlier to NT$447 million ($14.3 million). The PCB firm is optimistic it will generate operating profits in the second and third quarters, according to company chairman Han-Chung Hsu.
