ACL Staticide introduces the #880 Digital Megohmmeter to its line of static control instruments. Designed to be used specifically in electrostatic protected areas (EPA) for testing static dissipative surfaces, this digital megohmmeter is highly accurate and dependable for point-to-point (RTT) and resistance-to-ground (RTG) compliance verification and qualification assessments. Results are shown on the meter in numeric value within 10e3 to 10e12 ohms. Shielding cables enhance reliability with high accuracy even at the outer ranges.
The digital megohmmeter is able to apply 10V and 100V manually or automatically. Each audit kit contains two calibrated 5-pound electrodes, two heavy-duty shielded cables, one 9-V battery, a foam-lined carrying case, and a calibration certificate.
Suitable for any environment using static control materials, the instrument is effective in several applications including electrical device manufacturing, EPA audits, maintenance checks, quality control and incoming inspection, and static control material production.
ACL Staticide has been a trusted supplier to electronics manufacturers for 50 years with products for the automotive, avionics, medical device, plastics and telecommunications industries.
